What is a skip?
It’s a mini ‘dumpster’ of the same shape, but smaller in size for easy transportation.
What is its capacity?
Our skips can take 2.2m3 or 2.2 tones of rubble – this will save you 3 trips to the dump with an average bakkie.
How will it be delivered?
Your skip will be delivered using a specially equipped trailer which allows us to gently position it where you need it, without damaging tarred, paved or grassed areas.
How do I book a skip?
What are your payment terms?
Skips need to be paid for before delivery for one-day rentals and weekend rentals, while deposits are taken on weekly and monthly rentals. Payment terms may be negotiated on medium to long-term rentals.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All payments are to be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or direct deposit. Our banking details will be provided on your invoice.
Are there any additional costs other than the daily, weekly or monthly rental?
No. Our fee structure is simple and straightforward; there are no hidden costs.
What happens if I do not fill my skip completely and wish to keep it for another day?
You will be billed a discounted rate for the additional day or part thereof.
May I order more than one skip at a time?
Yes, you may order as many skips as you want, but it is advisable to order one at a time for residential projects; you can always order another one for the next day.
Do I need municipal permission to temporarily place a skip on my property?
No, the skip is for the purpose of removing rubble or other refuse and may be placed on your property.
Is there anything else expected of me when renting a skip?
Yes. You will need to ensure that you are home when the skip is delivered, to ensure that it is placed where you want it. You will also need to ensure that we have access to your property (in the event of you not being home) when it is collected the next morning.
Are you able to provide assistance with filling my skip?
Yes – we can quote on providing on-site support to help you fill your skip.
